The Library contains many books which list the names of victims for particular geographic locations, e.g., transport lists, death lists, memorial books, survivor registries, etc. The resources are too numerous to list here, but one may get a sense of the types of materials available by searching for the keyword "Registers" in the Library's online catalog.
In addition, many organizations concerned with Jewish genealogy have sites on the World Wide Web that might prove useful. Avotaynu, a publisher of works on Jewish genealogy, offers information about books and other resources of value to the family historian. JewishGen provides searchable databases, research guidelines, discussion groups, and other information relevant to those researching Jewish ancestry. Both Avotaynu and JewishGen include links to related sites of interest. For additional genealogical resources, see also the "Genealogy" section of the Library's collection of Web Links.
